The West Texas Food Bank is proud to be supported by a strong network of generous corporate sponsors. These partnerships provide the Food Bank with, not only monetary resources, but also with people power. For every $1 donated, the West Texas Food Bank can provide four meals. The Food Bank saves hundreds of thousand of dollars in payroll every year thanks to our corporate volunteer force. We invite your company to support the Food Bank through a variety of ways, including corporate gifts, food or fund drives, event sponsorship, or volunteering.
Giving a corporate gift is an excellent way for your company to demonstrate its corporate philanthropy. Gifts can be made to support specific programs, or you can simply give to help Food Bank conduct the day-to-day business of feeding hungry West Texans. Ninety-three cents of every dollar donated goes to support our mission.
The West Texas Food Bank welcomes corporate groups to host food or fund drives throughout the year. We encourage companies to think outside of the box and come up with unique ideas, such as a competition between departments or teams. Other ideas include having a one-item food drive that focuses on collecting a much-needed staple for the Food Bank, such as peanut butter, canned tuna, canned vegetables, shelf-stable milk, or fruit cups. Learn more at Start a Food Drive.
If your company is interested in helping the community while also gaining visibility, entertaining clients, or treating employees to a fun outing, we invite you to become an event sponsor for the Food Bank. Currently, the Food Bank offers two signature events each year: the Nick Williams Golf Tournament, in July, and the Forever Full Margarita Fiesta. As we continue to grow, we anticipate our event list will expand, too.
Whether your company is large or small, the Food Bank welcomes your group to volunteer. Bring your employees to help make a difference in the lives of hungry West Texans. Volunteering is a great way to build morale and teamwork-and may even turn into a party!
