The employees at Phillips 66 are not only working to provide energy solutions for the community around them, but their team is also paving the way towards a stronger, healthier future for West Texans.
Phillips 66 employees recently volunteered with the West Texas Food Bank by sorting and packing essential food items into senior boxes to help ensure local seniors receive nutritious meals to support their health and well-being.
Renay Ressel, a planner and scheduler for Phillips 66, says one of the company’s ongoing commitments is to give back to the community in which employees live and work.
“Phillips 66 strives to have a positive impact on all communities,” Renay says. “By volunteering in our local communities, we push positivity, improvements and betterment of our world.”
When volunteers like the Phillips 66 team give their time, they are making West Texas a better place for all of us to call home.
“I’m grateful to work for a company like Phillips 66 that encourages our team to come together and give back to our community. It not only provides an opportunity for us to bond, but also allows us to collaborate and make a positive impact on the community we call home,” says Jackie Duarte, volunteer coordinator at Phillips 66.
We are grateful for Phillips 66 and every volunteer who gives their time to the Food Bank. Together, we are making a lasting difference in the fight to end hunger.
