At the West Texas Food Bank, we are so grateful for all our volunteers who keep our mission alive — including the team at Chevron.

Recently, we had the opportunity to hear from Valerie Acosta, the Chevron Corporate Affairs Advisor.

“At Chevron, we see firsthand how meaningful it is for our employees to work alongside the Food Bank,” Valerie says, “whether volunteering, serving on the board of directors or simply witnessing the impact of programs like the Kids Cafe.”

Chevron employees regularly volunteer in our warehouse, helping the Food Bank stand ready and prepared to help West Texans. Plus, Chevron helps make the Kids Cafe program possible, which means kids have healthy meals at after school programs.

“We deeply appreciate the West Texas Food Bank’s dedication, compassion and the vital role they play in supporting families and children across the region,” Valerie says.

Thank you, Chevron and all of our volunteers, who are helping create a West Texas without hunger. We couldn’t do this critical work without partners like you. Together, we are sharing health and hope this holiday season — and every season.
